The Fletcher School is pleased to announce the launch of a Graduate Business Certificate for Tufts undergraduates. This new certificate pairs with your undergraduate education at Tufts to equip you with critical business skills that will help you stand out in any career. Join us for a meet-and-greet session with Fletcher deans on Wednesday, September 3, at 5:30–7:30 p.m. in Cabot Center Room 702. Hearty refreshments (savory and sweet) will be provided.

On Wednesday, September 3, at 7 p.m. at Carmichael Hall Chase Center, celebrate a decade of South Asian diaspora poetry with distinguished artists: poet laureate Pramila Venkateswaran, acclaimed Indian poet Arundhati Subramaniam (T.S. Eliot Prize nominee), tabla master Nitin Mitta, and award-winning santoor artist Kunal Gunjal. A moderated conversation with Dr. Ravi Shankar and a reception will follow.

Dr. Jenn Le Blond, Managing Director of Emerging Climatetech at the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC), will give the opening lecture of the Hoch Cunningham Lecture Series on Thursday, September 4, at 12 noon at Curtis Hall Multipurpose Room. Dr. Le Blond is tasked with ensuring that innovators and entrepreneurs have the support they need in developing climate tech solutions whether it is through helping early-stage research to innovate and/or supporting startups and industry to mitigate emissions and to become more resilient to climate change.

Students and Student Organizations can submit events to JumboLife! Add your event by Thursday at 12 noon each week, and we'll include it in the Jumbo Digest on Sunday.

Welcome to a new academic year!

As classes begin on September 2, check your classes in SIS to confirm your enrollment and that all pre-matriculation/transfer credits are on your transcript. Full-time students must be enrolled in at least 12 credits. 

Remember: The last day to ADD a class is Tuesday, September 9.
