We are reaching out to share a special new student-centered initiative called Tufts Inclusive Education Series (TIES) that the Office of the Vice Provost for Institutional Inclusive Excellence (IIE) has launched in partnership with departments across campus.
You can register for each of the sessions via our website where individual links for the workshop and dialogue associated with each topic is provided.
Next Monday, September 16, at 12 noon the session will be on “Tools and Strategies for Addressing Anti-Palestinian, Anti-Arab, and Anti-Muslim Bias.”

UPCOMING TUFTS INCLUSIVE EDUCATION SERIES (TIES) SESSIONS |
The Tufts Inclusive Education Series (TIES) is a workshop and dialogue series launched by the Office of the Vice Provost for Institutional Inclusive Excellence (IIE) in partnership with various partners across campus. The series is designed to equip students with the knowledge and tools needed to mitigate various forms of bias.
These educational workshops and dialogue sessions offer a unique opportunity to deepen our understanding of discrimination while learning practical steps to advocate for positive change. The objective of this series is to create an inclusive environment at Tufts where dialogue is centered and students participate in meaningful opportunities to humanize one another through generous listening.
The first session of the series took place during new student orientation and centered tools and strategies for addressing Antisemitism. We will host many more sessions this year focused on a variety of topics identified by the Tufts student community as significantly impactful during the previous academic year. For now we would like to share the upcoming three sessions:
-
Session 2: Tools and Strategies for Addressing Anti-Palestinian, Anti-Arab, and Anti-Muslim Bias
- Session 3: Tools and Strategies for Addressing Racial Inequity
- Session 4: Tools and Strategies for Addressing Political Polarization
*Note: Participation in the dialogue session requires attendance to the workshop session.
