Thomas Leleu, world-renowned tuba artist and winner of multiple French Grammy Awards, presents a masterclass for the tuba and euphonium players of Memphis. At only 34 years of age, Thomas Leleu is considered as “one of the best tuba players of the world” (Radio France) and a “world star of the tuba” (Europe 1, TMC – french national TV). He is one of the few tuba player to exclusively lead a solo career. This iconoclastic artist stands where genres mix: a classical soloist, passionate about world music, modern music and pop… « This absolute tuba genius (La Nouvelle République), acknowledged by his peers, already has an impressive career. In his hands the tuba reveals all its richness, fineness and complexity, a range that may seem endless, where it can finally find a new breath, a new youth. | On-Campus Student Employment Powered by Handshake
TigerLink powered by Handshake is a student career hub that includes the job board used by the University of Memphis to post Student Employment positions. Student Employment includes regular student employment (RSE) positions for those who are not eligible for federal work-study, and federal work-study (FWS) positions for those who are eligible. To apply for a position, students need to complete an application on TigerLink. Student Employment positions can be filtered under the “Jobs” search by clicking “On Campus Student Employment”. Before applying, students should be in good academic standing and enrolled at least half-time, which is 6 undergraduate/law hours or 5 graduate hours. The individual departments make the hiring decisions, and each department may have different GPA requirements. Applying for a position does not guarantee a job offer, and positions are competitive. Students can access TigerLink by downloading the Handshake app for iOS or Android. Or students can visit TigerLink from the web by visiting this website: For more information, please visit the Frequently Asked Questions page on the university’s Student Employment website:
