Family Day Camp Volunteers Needed |
We are looking for older youth and adults to lead one or more activities at Family Day camp on August 8. Current options include: Field Games, Arts & Craft, Nature Exploration, Canoeing, Fishing, or making an after-bite medicine.

Sign up to help with the 4-H Activity Tables on Friday, July 24 from 9:30-12:30 or 12:30-3:30. We have Chick petting/holding, decorating cookies, Lego table, straw weaving, foam door hangers or pennants, rock painting, temporary tattoos, and a community art project where people decorate a popsicle stick to look like them.

Join us for Young Builders, a FREE 4-H LEGO program where creativity meets community! Youth will explore architecture and design through LEGO building, creating structures with thoughtful consideration of the world around them.

Help Staff Sewing Tables July 25 |
Please sign up to help people sew a 15-minute table runner. We hope for 5 people per shift.

Calling all 3-8th graders to join us on August 3rd from 3-5pm to learn how to make beaded keychains. Youth will learn how to bead and choose their own creations to take home. Registration is limited to 15 participants, with a $5 supply fee. Payment will be taken at the door. Registration closes on July 24th at 11:59pm, via 4-H Online. Attention 4-H youth and families! Join us for an interactive evening exploring the rich art, history, and vibrant culture behind timeless quilts!

Eau Claire Family Day Camp |
Registration issue is fixed! Calling families for a day of fun outside at Camp Nawakwa near Cornell, WI. We'll enjoy nature, make some arts & crafts, and play games with other 4-H families. This is geared toward families with kids of all ages as a way to experience family time and some camp traditions. Camp Nawakwa includes access to Picnic Lake and the Ice Age trail plus a field for games, a campfire pit, and an indoor lodge. Cost is $20/family. Register before 11:59PM on July 30.

Poultry Project Education |
Join Poultry Project leaders to learn about hatching chicks in an incubator and learn about eggs on July 2 from 4-5pm and candle eggs on July 9 from 4-5. Any ages welcome and you do not have to be a poultry project member to join us. We will be placing 12 eggs in an incubator to hatch. If all goes well, we will have chicks for the activity tables at the fair.

Kickball Tournament Registration |
Register for the inaugural Eau Claire County 4-H Kickball Tournament on August 30th starting at 1:00 PM. Teams will play at least two games and we will share frozen treats afterwards. It will be fun!!!

Eau Claire County Fair July 20-26, 2026 |
The Eau Claire County Fair will be July 20-26. The schedule is posted! Please visit the Eau Claire County Fair Website (see button below) for the most up-to-date information. Note: The fair book has been completely overhauled to be more in line with state regulations. Please be patient and reach out to Tammy Schlewitz at eauclairefair@gmail.com or 715-456-6119 for questions.

This year, all profits from the fair food stand will go to the Eau Claire County 4-H Leaders Association to support 4-H programs and scholarships. Thank you to Aaron Winter of PHGG for volunteering to be the Fair Food Stand Manager this year.
The Leaders Association asks each 4-H family to donate one store-bought pie for the Eau Claire County 4-H Leaders Fair Food Stand in the Expo building at the Eau Claire County Fair. Pies can be brought to the fair Thursday through Saturday.
We also ask each family to work one shift in the food stand during the fair. Shifts have been assigned to clubs. Please contact your club leader if you are unable to help during your assigned shift, as you may be able to help during a different shift. Please contact Wendy Duerkop at 715-579-0006 if you have questions.
