"For the past 4 years, the Lucie Technical Awards has been proud to honor the highest achievements in this fast-changing world of technology, and this year is no exception. Both professional photographers and consumers are taking more pictures than at any time in history. They are seeking the best solutions to elevate their craft and rely on industry experts to guide them in their purchases. The esteemed LTA board members aim to pay tribute to the hard-working engineers and manufacturers who contribute to taking all of our images to the next level. We are excited to have two new categories this year: the Camera of the Year and Achievement in Technological Innovation Award. In addition, the Chuck Westfall Award once again will honor one of our industry’s finest influencers and educators. It will be an evening of great inspiration for our photography community,” stated Lori Reale, Director of Sales and Marketing, Lucie Foundation.
The Lucie Technical Awards Advisory Board, which includes some of the industry's most respected technical editors, is responsible for determining the winners. This endeavor greatly expands The Lucie Awards’ overall mission to promote the appreciation of photography worldwide.
