MEET STUDENT ACCESSIBILITY SERVICES
JULY 2, 2019
Hello Jumbos,
We're introducing  Student Accessibility Services this week!
Transfer BFA and all Combined Degree students, we've added a new item to your New Student Checklist 2019 so you can select your SMFA Meal Plan. Make sure you complete this item by August 30 to have your meal plan applied to your Tufts student ID card for Fall 2019! (Note: First-year BFA students are automatically enrolled in SMFA Plan A, so they do not need to select an SMFA Meal Plan.)

How Does Student Accessibility Services Help?

Tufts is proud to welcome students with a variety of backgrounds, interests, and abilities. Student Accessibility Services (SAS) promotes disability as a form of diversity, and their team helps ensure that all students with disabilities are able to access their academic and co-curricular activities.
SAS is here to help any student who:
  • has a physical, learning, medical, psychiatric, or sensory condition;
  • has been diagnosed with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD);
  • has a mental health condition or chronic health disability;
  • has any other disability that affects one or more major life function.
Here are some of the ways they help:
