Last summer, Carmine received a videotape collection comprising thousands of hours of sessions from one of the early pioneers of videotape psychotherapy. In this article, he writes about questions of memory and how technology can reshape it, and how he hopes to convey the experiences of the patients, while protecting their anonymity, as a filmmaker.
