We are THRILLED to announce that School of Rock continues to be the leader in music education and this fall we will be taking things to a whole new level! Our mission has always been to get our students playing faster and becoming true musicians as they move through our programs, or in other words, to offer real music education as opposed to just taking lessons. To that end, we are rolling out two exciting new tools to our active students:
1) Our newly minted lesson books which cover the gamut on skills, performance and more; and,
2) Our new School of Rock Lesson interactive App that will make at-home practice more meaningful.
These two new proprietary tools are the culmination of many years of music education experience through private teaching and group direction, built by real music professionals and our new partnership with Hal Leonard. This truly represents our commitment to bringing our students world class best practices that support their musical learning and goals. We are so proud to be able to add this next level, cutting edge approach to our teaching practices and we hope you are as excited as we are! Stay tuned for more information coming soon!

Camps, Camps, and more Camps!It's hard to believe we have completed 6 weeks of summer camps. Each week is a unique and new adventure. It's amazing to work with these exceptional kids. They work hard, practice day in and out, make new friends, and put on a an amazing performance at the end of the week. If you still haven't had a chance to check out our camps, make sure you drop by 3 Stars Brewing in DC on Friday 8/2, 8/9 & 8/16 at 5PM for our last 3 performances of the summer. Woodstock 50th Anniversary CelebrationWe are partnering with Bluemont Vineyards for a day of musical celebration of Woodstock. Enjoy a great day of music while taking in the stunning vistas, delicious wine and special menu for the day at the amazing Blumont Vineyard in Loudoun County. All Performance Program students will get to participate as a free, extra show. All are welcome! More details to come, but mark your calendars now!

It's Back To School of Rock Time!Hard to believe that summer is almost over and for parents, that means getting all the fall activities and schedule going. Our schedule is filling up unusually early this year, so we urge returning families to call sooner rather than later so you can get the lesson time and instructor you desire. We allow you to hold a lesson slot for two weeks prior to your start date so be sure to plan ahead. See you soon!

SPECIAL House Band Auditions - Sunday, August 25th
Hey everyone! Neel here! I know that a lot of you are champing at the bit to show us that you are House Band material, so we will be hosting an special round of auditions on AUGUST 25th! Please save this date and start working with your instructors on the material you will be performing! Please prepare one Classic Rock song and one song of your choice!
