It's contest time again! Whoever guesses the closest to the sales price wins a $50 gift certificate to the coffee shop, ice cream shop, pizza parlor, or restaurant of their choice. Hints to help you guess correctly (but remember, I don't know the answer yet):
- The condo is getting lots of showings, 18 so far, which is very good for a condo.
- Several new condos came on the market this week so there is competition out there.
- The Capitol Hill Condo market is having a comeback, but it's still not as hot as the single family home market.
- There are some issues on the inspection report. Nothing huge, but the furnace has lived longer than its life expectancy and there is still some knob and tube wiring in the attic that will need rewiring at some point.
- It's unique. It was built in 1949 and converted into condos in 1985. It lives like a house, with outdoor entry, but it is a condo. There are not many places like this on Capitol Hill. It's a rare bird.
- It has a second bathroom but there are no walls in the bathroom and you have to climb up a big step to get to the toilet. The toilet truly is a throne! Maybe it will set a new trend and people will start raising their toilets up a foot.
- It has a basement! No condos have basements. Even if you don't finish the basement, it would be great to have as project space.
