Local Voices: Short Video Stories on Vaccines

Public Health – Seattle & King County has released a series of short videos featuring King County residents talking about what life looked like before widespread vaccination — polio, measles, and the diseases that shaped their families.

They're brief, personal, and useful for waiting rooms, patient education, and social media. Eric Chow, MD, Chief of Communicable Disease Epidemiology and Immunization at Public Health – Seattle & King County, shared them with KCMS and encourages members to pass them along.

I remember life before vaccines — Betty's story
"This country defeated a horrible disease" — Walter's story
"It's something you don't forget" — Bobbi's story
*  Analuz's story (en Español)

The full collection is available on the Public Health immunization resources page. Where to get vaccinated in King County is HERE.
