October is ADHD Awareness Month, a time to learn, support, and celebrate the strengths of students with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. ADHD is one of the most common neurodevelopmental conditions in children, and with understanding and the right supports, kids with ADHD can thrive at home, in school, and in their communities.

October is Bullying Prevention Month: a time for families, schools, and students to come together to build kindness, empathy, and inclusion. This month, we’re sharing resources and strategies to help kids speak up, stand together, and create positive environments where everyone can thrive.

In partnership with the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Penn State PRO Wellness is seeking youth who are passionate about sharing their voice on health policies and health issues.
Youth will receive training and then meet in regional (Eastern, Central, Western) and statewide councils to share their input.
Youth will interact with peers, young adults, and other professionals to create a network of relationships focused on elevating the youth voice in public health

Attend 6 meetings (Zoom or in-person) and share your opinions during discussions with peers regionally and statewide (travel reimbursed)
- 15-18 years old

- Exposure to health and health promotion topics
