Anchored in Our Values Learning Series
As a new student, you are required to complete the Anchored in Our Values Learning Series to assist with making informed choices regarding your health and safety, as well as the health and safety of other students and the larger Vanderbilt community. Information regarding these modules has been sent from @safecolleges.com with the subject line “Mandatory: Anchored in Our Values Learning Series.” The modules will need to be completed by the deadlines issued in the email.

Experience Vanderbilt
Experience Vanderbilt (EV) is a student-led, university-supported initiative that provides undergraduate students who qualify for need-based financial aid with funding for extracurricular activities that have fees. Applications will be available online in August. Stay updated with EV on Instagram.

Transfer Student Orientation
Transfer Student Orientation (TSO) is the required orientation for incoming transfer students, and it takes place immediately before the start of classes. TSO is designed to offer you a robust introduction to life at Vanderbilt, including informational sessions and small-group discussions to help you navigate your academic program, campus resources, extracurricular activities and student life on Vanderbilt’s campus. Through TSO, you will also have the opportunity to connect with Transfer Student Leaders (TSLs), juniors and seniors who transferred to Vanderbilt themselves, and other incoming transfer students. You will also interact with faculty, staff and campus resource partners. Together, you will begin to discover the personal, academic, intellectual and social opportunities of life at Vanderbilt. There are also opportunities for your families to learn more about campus. The 2026 TSO schedule is now available online.

Shipping Packages for Move-In
Mail Services processes all incoming mail and packages for students living on campus during Move-In Weekend. Please make every effort to combine items for shipping to campus to limit excessive amounts of packages.
Please do not ship packages prior to August 5. Packages will be ready for pickup at the Student Life Center Garage temporary location (just off Vanderbilt Place) or at the Station B Post Office (Rand Hall) beginning during Transfer Student Move-in on August 21. You will receive an email package notification for each package received, with instructions on the pick-up location.
If you receive a package that does not belong to you, please bring it to one of the Mail Services centers as soon as possible. More details about shipping packages can be found online.
