Provost Miranda will share stories of impactful moments from her own professional and personal journey to the University of Notre Dame, including insights on topics such as mentorship and encouraging the next generation of female leaders.
Participants have the ability to propose questions for Provost Miranda as part of the RSVP form.

MentorND: Using the colors of fall to practice mindfulness and goal setting
Are you having trouble navigating your way through the haze and the fog of this season? Maybe it's hard to focus on the goals for your future when the happenings of tomorrow are still so unclear. The Mentoring Committee has a few tips and tricks up our sleeve that we are certain you will find as a treat!
In November, we will explore the colors of fall and relate them to a mindfulness practice that is sure to electrify your senses and get you back on track towards filling your energy buckets and making sure you are prepared each day to do the next right thing (to learn more about these buckets, listen to Craig Groeschel Leadership podcast).
Be on the lookout for an invitation to test your knowledge and spark your creativity in goal-setting exercises with the Mentoring Committee.
For momentum in fulfilling your goals and to connect with others who are trying to navigate through the season of uncertainty, we ask that you update or fill out a profile on MentorND.

Title: Program Director, Gift Planning; Department of Development
Bio: I am currently a Program Director in the Office of Gift Planning, and started at Notre Dame in 2019. I work with benefactors and regional fundraisers along the East Coast to develop strategies for deferred and structured contributions to Notre Dame, including estate and trust gifts, gifts of real estate, and gifts of privately held business interests. As a CPA/self-described tax nerd and total people person, this role is perfect for me. I get to meet amazing members of the Notre Dame family and assist them in structuring gifts to save taxes!

Kimberlé Williams Crenshaw is an American lawyer, civil rights advocate, philosopher, and a leading scholar of critical race theory who developed the theory of intersectionality. She is a full-time professor at the UCLA School of Law and Columbia Law School, where she specializes in race and gender issues.
