Carlsen Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship are looking for you!

Ready to change the world?  Have an idea for a startup?  Want to be your own boss someday?
Then you’ll want to attend an information session targeted specifically toward student veterans. Join us to  learn how to move your ideas from dream to reality by talking to staff from the Carlsen Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.  You’ll hear about several opportunities to get involved with their programs and with others on campus that will give you the skills you need to succeed.
Find out more about these programs and others too, by attending one of the two information sessions on Thursday, September 12, at either 11 am or 5 pm (pizza provided at both).  RSVP by contacting mgarza@csus.edu.
The Carlsen Center offers a Startup Bootcamp that will teach you how to pitch and launch a business or non-profit.  The next Bootcamp has space set aside specifically for student veterans.  It’s a 2-part event:  Fri, 9/20, 2pm-7pm (working dinner provided) andSat, 9/21, 9am-1pm, at the Carlsen Center (Library 1520).  The Bootcamp is free, but advanced registration is required as space is limited.  Bootcamp is a primer for the upcoming Venture School which will be held beginning in October.
Space is limited, so an RSVP is required. Click here to RSVP.
We encourage you all to attend and learn about the great programs that the Carlsen Center has to offer.
If you have any questions, please contact Mario Garza at mgarza@csus.edu.
