  • A funded organization under the 2016-2017 Homeownership Capacity program year.
  • An organization named to receive a direct appropriation.
  • A sub-grantee under one of the above categories.
Please save the dates for these upcoming Homeownership Capacity events. You will receive details on each one in the coming weeks.

September 29 | Homeownership Capacity Kickoff Event 
Required: At least one coach and one program manager must attend
Time: All day session, start and end time TBA
Location: Minnesota Housing, St. Paul
Registration: You will receive an eNews with registration information in early September.
October 31-November 4 | NeighborworksAmerica Financial Capability Certification
Required: At least one staff member must be certified by December 31, 2016
Time: All day sessions, start and end times TBA
Location: HO 208 completed online; HO 209 and 310 at Bremer Bank, Lake Elmo
Cost: Up to two spots with no tuition charge for each Homeownership Capacity awardee or organization receiving direct appropriation. Up to one spot with no tuition charge for each sub-grantee.
The cost for additional attendees beyond the complimentary number above are as follows:
  • HO 208 – No charge
  • HO 209 - $300
  • HO 310 - $200
You must cover your own costs for meals, lodging and transportation.

January 23-27 | NeighborworksAmerica Post-Purchase Education Training
Optional 
Time: All day sessions, start and end times TBA
Location: Bremer Bank, Lake Elmo
Cost: Up to two spots with no tuition charge for each Homeownership Capacity awardee or organization receiving direct appropriation. Up to one spot with no tuition charge for each sub-grantee.
The cost for additional attendees beyond the complimentary number above is $500/person.
You must cover your own costs for meals, lodging and transportation.
Registration: Registration opens November 7. You will receive an eNews at that time with further details and registration information. Additional attendees beyond the complimentary number above may register on a first come, first served basis when general registration opens on November 28. Learn more about the certification.
