Celebrating 10 years of Investment, Innovation and Stewardship

2022 marks the tenth year of operation for Port Hawkesbury Paper. When operations re-started in 2012, we were on a mission to make PHP the highest quality and most competitive producer of supercalendered paper in North America—while at the same time being a great place to work, environmentally responsible and a strong contributor to the province of Nova Scotia. Although the paper business continues to have challenges, the employees, contractors, suppliers and customers have all contributed to the mill's longevity and success. We look forward to the next ten years.

A Timeline of the Company's Operations

We have highlighted a few critical milestones over the past ten years. Each year we've celebrated accomplishments and successes.

Thank You to All Involved for a Successful Mill Maintenance Down
Thank you to the Port Hawkesbury Paper employees and over 200 workers representing over 30 local, national and international contractors who worked safely during our annual maintenance down.
Over 4 days, we focused on projects throughout the facility and invested over 7 million dollars to help continue our position as a world-class paper manufacturer. We appreciate the support in making Port Hawkesbury Paper a vital part of the Nova Scotia economy.
