Academic Honors

Honors and scholarship awards continue to roll in for the Class of 2022!

Lauren Caldwell has been named an Indiana Academic All-Star. Every Indiana high school can nonimate one student for this distinct honor. The Indiana Association of School Principal's All-Stars committee selects the winners based on the strength of courses, GPA, ACT/SAT scores, extracurricular activities, leadership, and community service. Way to go, Lauren! Congratulations!

Cathedral Launches Media Network

Cathedral High School is proud to announce the launch of our media network, Irish Connection! This initiative is part of our five-year strategic plan to have a student-led broadcast network featuring academics, athletics, and the arts. We've already featured two baseball games on Irish Connection. The next broadcasts are Cathedral Irish baseball versus Huntington North on Saturday, May 7, at noon and Cathedral Irish baseball versus Chatard on Wednesday, May 18, at 5:30 p.m. Thank you to Cathedral's awesome Student Innovation Team* for leading this effort. Also thank you to our student announcers, Nick Rodecap and Seth Mencer for doing a great job. Click here to check out our next two baseball broadcasts. You'll need to register before the game starts, so allow yourself a little time before the first pitch. The livestream is free, so tune in and Go Irish!
*Our Student Innovation Team members are Adam Barth, Eric Bruns, Anthony Ernst, Ed Freije, Jenny Herron, Katie Lewis, Kathy Saum and Aundrey Wright.
