Dear Student Affairs Colleagues,
We are entering an exciting time in our spring semester — there are many student events and weekly programs to attend. Yesterday, our men’s basketball team learned we will host the first and second rounds of the NCAA Division III tournament at HOME this weekend! To celebrate, we are offering free admission vouchers. The voucher is for staff members of the Division of Student Affairs and one guest per Student Affairs staff member. If interested, please email Bryan Lenz directly by EOD this Thursday, March 6. The first game is slated for Friday, March 7, at 6:40 p.m. CDT vs. Central. When you (and your guest) arrive at the Athletic Complex, enter through the doors labeled, “Pass List.” Your name will be at the Pass List table, and we will use the same pass list for the second round contest on Saturday. For a full release with bracket information, ticket pricing, and First and Second Round coverage, read here.
Finally, I’d like to welcome two new members to the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs. Ria Sharon started on Friday, February 28. As the senior director of marketing & communications, Ria will oversee our Division’s marketing & communications efforts. Additionally, Rob Reardon has accepted the position of director, budgets and operations. He begins on March 10. Both Ria and Rob will be introduced at our March Divisional meeting, which is Wednesday, March 26, in Risa Commons beginning at 8:30 a.m.
I look forward to seeing you all then!
