The Stationery Factory in Dalton, a refurbished industrial building that is home to over 20 local businesses and artisans, as well as an event and performance space, is holding a Holiday Retail & Craft Market. More than 30 vendors will be on hand, along with food and drinks, a full bar at Shire Breu House, and live music. More info

Steamboat Bill, Jr.

Sat Nov 26, 7–9 p.m.
The remastered 1928 silent film classic will be screened at Dewey Hall with live, original music by Joanna Seaton, vocals and percussion, and Donald Sosin, composer and keyboards. Steamboat Bill, Jr. is about the son of a riverboat captain in love with the daughter of his father's rival. It's known for what may be Buster Keaton's most famous film stunt: A house's façade falls down while he stands in the location of an open window to avoid being flattened. More info

Chamber Concerts

Tanglewood Learning Institute (TLI) has announced a new series of chamber concert performances at the Linde Center on the grounds of Tanglewood in Lenox. Beginning the TLI series will be musicians from Castle of our Skins, including Brianna J. Robinson, soprano (pictured above); DeShaun Gordon-King, flute; Francesca McNeeley, cello; and Kyle P. Walker, piano. Subsequent performances will be on December 11, March 12, and April 16. More info

The Wizard of Oz

Sat Nov 26, 4 p.m.
Join Dorothy as she follows the Yellow Brick Road to find her way home. Audiences enjoy this classic 1939 movie every Thanksgiving weekend at the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center. Experience the magic when the black-and-white film turns to color, and hear classic lines such as “You've always had the power my dear, you just had to learn it yourself” and  “A heart is not judged by how much you love, but by how much you are loved by others.”  More info

A Christmas Carol

Wed and Thurs, Nov 30 and Dec 1
The great-great-grandson of the literary legend Charles Dickens, British actor Gerald Charles Dickens will present a one-man theatrical performance of his ancestor’s classic work, A Christmas Carol, at Ventfort Hall Mansion and Gilded Age Museum. The December 1 performance is sold out, and a few tickets are available for November 30. An elegant tea will be served before his 7 p.m. performance. More info
