Launching a new MEng in AI and Materials
Rising to the #17 Undergraduate Program in the Nation |
I’m thrilled to share with you the news that our undergraduate program rose three places to #17 in this year’s rankings from the U.S. News and World Report! This is undoubtedly a reflection of the hard work and dedication put forth by our entire community. Your efforts are critical to ensuring our students graduate ready to become leaders in their fields by being steeped in design learning, community engagement, an entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on projects that make real-world impact.

Blending AI with Materials Science to Transform Technology |
Building on a training grant investment from the NSF, Duke Engineering is proudly launching a new Master of Engineering in AI and Materials program. A deep understanding of both disciplines will empower our students to transform fields from energy to medicine to advanced electronics. Congratulations and a big thank you to Profs. Cate Brinson and Shana McAlexander for getting this program off the ground!
