Our August 12 Kickoff introduces our discipleship pathway and helps you discover the many ways to connect this semester.
You'll meet ministry leaders, explore Belong Groups and Believe Groups, and find the opportunities that best fit your interests and season of life. Whether you're new to FUMCT or have been here for years, Wednesday Waypoint is your midweek place to reconnect with God, build relationships, and be encouraged for the journey ahead. The Destination: Discipleship event will be your opportunity to learn more about each group.

Did you know? Matthew 25 Ministry serves individuals and families experiencing financial hardship, homelessness, transportation barriers, and other immediate needs.
On an average morning, 10–12 individuals spend time in our Community Space. Each month, we provide approximately 100 trolley ticket packets, assist about 8 households with financial needs, and respond to approximately 20 additional requests or referrals.
Beyond the numbers, each person is welcomed with dignity, compassion, and connection to helpful resources. Your prayers and support make this ministry possible as we care for our neighbors.

Through individualized support, adaptive environments, and caring volunteers, we help children, students, and adults of all abilities experience God's love, grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and use their gifts in service to others.
Mosaic Ministry welcomes individuals with sensory needs, learning differences, neurodivergence, mobility or seating needs, and anyone who benefits from additional support or flexibility during worship and church activities. Working alongside families, we strive to remove barriers and foster a community where every person is welcomed, valued, and empowered—because at FUMCT, there is a place for you. You belong.
You will notice that we have made space at the back of the Sanctuary and Chitwood Hall for our Mosaic Ministry. Welcome and blessings on all who may use it.

| We will soon be removing some pews down front next to the pulpit to make a special place in the Sanctuary for those in a wheelchair or those who simply need more space to get comfortable. Welcome and blessing on all who may use it.

This Sunday August 16th from 6-7:30 we will be having our FOOMACK open house. This will be a time for you to hear about us and about the opportunities and events we have coming up and how you can contribute! We are expectant for this season and excited to pour into these kids!

Little Lambs Fall/Winter Sale
|
The Little Lambs Sale is a large, community wide semiannual consignment sale sponsored by FUMCT. It is completely operated by church members and community volunteers. We offer gently-used children’s clothing up to size 14, baby items (such as strollers, swings, and high chairs), nursery furniture, toys and books.
We would love to have our church family help us execute this amazing week where thousands of local families will come through our doors.

Community Soup Bowl Volunteer Sign-Up Is Now Online |
The Community Soup Bowl now offers online volunteer sign-up for weekday and weekend shifts. As part of this transition, the previous scheduling process and mailed reminder postcards will be discontinued.
Weekday shifts are 10:15 a.m.–12:30 p.m. and primarily involve serving lunch. Weekend shifts are 8:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. and may include food preparation, serving, and cleaning.
First United Methodist Church is proud to be one of the founders of the Community Soup Bowl and grateful for the many members who continue to support this important ministry.
