The end of the fall semester is just around the corner! It feels like just yesterday that Athens came alive with the return of students, and now your Bobcat is only a few weeks — and a few finals — away from a well-earned winter break.
As your student prepares for finals, encourage them to make the most of the resources available. The Academic Achievement Center offers great tools to help them succeed, the Center for Student Engagement and Leadership is hosting fun stress-relief events like a screening of Inside Out 2, and Finals by Alden is featuring an opportunity to cuddle with 4-H pets for a study break.
For students staying in Athens over break, there are still plenty of ways to stay engaged. From community events to basic needs resources like housing support or free meals.
We are so proud of everything your student has accomplished this semester. To our December graduates — congratulations and remember, you are Forever a Bobcat!
Warm regards,

The holidays are meant to be a time of joy, but going home can also bring stress, especially if this is your student's first transition leaving campus.
Encourage your student to prioritize self-care, set boundaries if they need to and find ways to stay connected to their communities. Your student can also explore resources like Togetherall and WellTrack Boost for more mental health resources.

| Does your student have a student job at OHIO? |
Make sure they opt in for paperless W-2 forms ASAP! The University changed the way they are processing tax documents, so even if they opted in last year they'll need to do so again this year.

Students are invited to evaluate their courses |
Students have a chance to provide feedback on their courses and instructors. The evaluation period ends December 14. They should have received an email from the Blue Course Evaluation System with a link to your evaluations.
