Nikki Usher authored the chapter “How interactivity can build transparency: What tech can teach us about rebuilding journalism trust” in Trump and the Media and was quoted in The Washington Post article Scoop. Frank Sesno was quoted in the Boston Globe article "How Stormy Daniels is beating Trump at his own game."
Silvio Waisbord gave two talks on communication studies and academic publishing at the Catholic University in Santiago, Chile, participated in a panel on public broadcasting at National Radio in Buenos Aires, Argentina and co-authored the chapter "Trump and the great disruption in public communication" in Trump and the Media with alumna Tina Tucker and graduate student Zoey Lichtenheld.
Jason Osder screened his film "Let the Fire Burn" at Bucknell University's spring lecture series "Erasure: Blackness and the Fight Against Invisibility."
