Tufts Campus Life
New & Improved JumboLife
July 28th, 2026

Out with the old and in with the new!

Dear Student Leaders,

We're excited to share that JumboLife is moving to a new platform! As part of this transition, the current student engagement platform, Presence, will be retired and replaced by CampusGroups, the new home of JumboLife.

JumboLife will continue to be your one-stop destination for registering events, managing your student organizations, tracking your involvement, and connecting with the Tufts community. The new platform offers an improved user experience and enhanced tools to help you make the most of your student leadership position.

What you need to know
  • Presence will be retired on July 31st, at which point you will no longer be able to log in
  • JumboLife on CampusGroups will be available beginning this fall. Stay tuned for more information!
  • The new platform will be accessible at the same URL (jumbolife.tufts.edu) using your Tufts credentials
What does this mean for student leaders?
This fall, you can continue using the new and improved JumboLife to:
  • Register your student organization's events
  • Request OCL resources for on and off-campus events
  • Update your organization's contact information, ReserveTufts contact, and TCU Treasury signatories
  • Provide updated information about your organization for students looking to get involved
  • House & archive student organization documents for future leaders of your organization
Additionally, you'll be able to utilize new tools to manage your student organization:
  • Create and manage mailing lists directly through JumboLife--use these lists to send emails or mobile app push notifications with important student organization information
  • Use QR codes to track attendance at your events. This data can be helpful in advocating for funding for future events, sending event assessments to attendees, and automating attendance records for mandatory member events
  • Create forms, surveys, or checklists for your members to complete with the option to add workflow approvals and notifications
  • Manage a forum for members of your student organization to connect, ask questions, post event photos, and more!
What about the transition form?
If your organization has already completed your transition form, all of the information you updated will be transferred over to the new platform--no action needed on your end!

If your organization has not completed the transition form for the 2026-2027 school year, you will not be able to after July 31st. Organizations that miss the deadline, should email jumbolife@tufts.edu for further instructions. Failure to submit this information will result in the inability to table at the Student Organization Fair on September 7th and the restriction of TCU Treasury funds.
Where will I be able to learn more?
