Dear Galvin Scholars,
Welcome to the fall semester! We are so happy to have you all on campus to start the new year. After celebrating the graduation of the second cohort in the spring, we are now officially welcoming the class of 2027 to campus, which brings us to about 320 total Galvin scholars!
This year the program is working to bring you more events, both academic and social, as well as continue to support you in your research and internship endeavors. We hope that you will continue to be involved and communicate anything you would like to see from the program.
A few thoughts
- Bond G09 is your space from 5:00 pm on during the weekdays and all day on the weekends unless another event is scheduled. In this newsletter are some guidelines for the space, so please take a look.
- We will have our first academic event on September 19th. The event is about Metacognition and will be beneficial to all scholars- more details to come later!
- If there are academic themes you would like to see programming for, please reach out!
I wish you the best of luck getting started in your classes. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.
Best,
Professor Young
