Formation classes continue |
This week's Faith & Doubt session goes somewhere harder: doubt that arrives not as a question but as a wound — attached to grief, trauma, or harm experienced at the hands of a church. The teaching addresses theodicy honestly, names the well-intentioned responses to suffering that tend to make things worse, and explores what actually sustains faith in the darkest seasons. The panel this week includes licensed counselors who bring both clinical experience and personal faith to the conversation.
The Episcopal Church – Who Are We, What Do We Do, and Why? meets in the Gym Classroom, and will continue the discussion on various facets of the Episcopal Church for all who would like to know more about our tradition and how we worship.
Classes meet at 10:00 a.m.and all are welcome.

Give peace in our time, O good and gracious God, that peace which, as your son Jesus Christ told us and as we have experienced in these days, is a peace which the world cannot give.T o world leaders grant the wisdom to see beyond the boundaries of race, religion, and nation to that common humanity that makes us all your children and brothers and sisters to one another. |
