Zeta Beta Tau statement regarding violence in Charlottesville
Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity strongly condemns the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, today. This type of aggression is not acceptable, and we call for a halt to all acts of racism, violence and intimidation.
Globally, Zeta Beta Tau is committed to ending any and all acts of violence, bigotry and hate. The Fraternity continues to be a leader in the effort to end all forms of hate. 
We empower our brothers to be advocates for the Jewish community and leaders in supporting religious freedom on their campuses and in their communities. ZBT partners with organizations that share our Mission and can serve as a valuable resource to our brothers in their efforts to fight any anti-Semitic or racist sentiments on their campuses and around the world. We are proud of the ZBT brothers worldwide who are mobilizing in their communities to repair any harm and turn the focus around to peace. 
Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity was founded in 1898 in New York City as the world's first Jewish Fraternity. ZBT is a Brotherhood of Kappa Nu, Phi Alpha, Phi Epsilon Pi, Phi Sigma Delta and Zeta Beta Tau. ZBT is represented on 90 campuses in the United States and Canada and has more than 140,000 undergraduate and alumni brothers throughout the world.
