A 20-year-old patient with Thygeson Superficial Punctate Keratitis (SPK) presents persistent symptoms after five years of treatment. Dr. Stephen A. Wexler and colleagues discuss this case in Cataract & Refractive Surgery Today, exploring potential treatments like PRK surgery with MMC to address her decreased best-corrected visual acuity (BCVA). They suggest this option along with oral tetracycline for underlying rosacea, offering a new approach to improving her vision.
