Yes summer break may be winding down, but that means it's almost the best time of year- move-in! Start thinking about your packing checklist, check in on your class registration, and maybe even look for a campus job. You can start planning for all those things with our current student resources!
Though I've enjoyed a little break among the excitement of welcoming thousands of new students at Bobcat Student Orientation this summer, I look forward to having you all back on campus and watching Athens come to life with the energy and drive you bring. I'm excited for you all to begin a successful academic year, and I am here to support whatever you might need to do so.
See you soon!

Get ready to return to campus |
Check these six things off your list to prep for move-in:
|
|
|
1. Review fall move-in information: For the official move-in schedule and other information, visit the online arrival guide.
2. Finalize or complete your Vaccination Information Form: Students are required to report meningitis and hepatitis vaccination information. Visit Housing Self-Service, select the ‘Contracts and Applications’ tab and choose the Vaccination Information Form. This must be completed before you arrive.
3. Change your meal plan: You can change your meal plan via Housing Self-Service up to the second Friday of fall semester (September 6 at 4 p.m.). After that, you can only increase your meal plan.
|
|
4. Update or complete contact information: Students should update their ‘Missing Persons Contact’ information on their Housing Self-Service page under ‘Personal Information’.
5. Add Bobcat Cash: Load Bobcat Cash to your OHIO ID for use in student labs and libraries for printing, laundry, shopping and eating!
6. Review our packing checklist to see what to bring and what not to bring. And don't forget to review the Student Housing Handbook so you are familiar with all the policies, procedures, and many of the resources you will have access to living on campus.

Save yourself time by shipping items to our partners Storage Scholars. They will receive your packages, notify you, and deliver everything to your room before you arrive on campus. Sign up by August 1.
