Caio Milhorati Graduate Business Council Award
It’s an annual tradition for the Graduate Business Council (GBC) to collectively raise funds and donate to the School. Last year, the 2018-19 GBC Executives established the Caio Milhorati Graduate Business Council Award in celebration of their treasurer’s hard work ethic, commitment and dedication overseeing the Council’s finances.
As an international student, Caio understands first-hand the challenges and opportunities that come as a newcomer to the country while pursuing a Master’s education and raising a young family. That’s why it was important for the GBC Executives to establish an award that will minimize the financial burden for an international student. We are pleased to announce Phuong Tran (MBA '20) as the inaugural recipient of the Caio Milhorati Graduate Business Council Award. Similar to Caio, Phuong is an international student pursuing her Master’s education while raising a young family.

Do your sales staff still make in-person cold calls?
In an era of digital disruption, professional sales leaders need to be aware of new tools that will help your team and your customers stay in touch.
It will come as no surprise to most sales leaders that the days of dropping by in person to check in on customers and important leads have all bet ended. What was once a tried-and-true method of keeping in touch is now considered an intrusion into their busy schedule - not the impression you want to create or the best use of time, for either your sales team or their customers. But the need to maintain contacts is more important than ever.
