Matriculation Weather Update |

Dear Students,
We regret to share that due to tomorrow's weather forecast for thunderstorms, the Matriculation welcome will be held in a webinar format starting at 10 a.m. Remarks will be livestreamed so that you and your family can participate remotely.
Tomorrow morning, at 9 a.m., you will have your residence hall floor meeting as scheduled. Transfer students will meet in Curtis Hall at 9 a.m. with Transfer Leaders. Students can watch the Matriculation welcome with their peers on their floor or with their parents and families if they come to campus.
Parents and families who are on campus are welcome to view the ceremony in Barnum Hall (near the Jumbo statue), Cohen Auditorium (where the "After the Drop-off panel was), and the nearby Alumnae Lounge. Parents and families will receive a separate message about these details.

Following Matriculation, lunch will be available for students in Carmichael and Dewick dining centers. Unfortunately, the dining centers do not have capacity to accommodate parents and families. Parents and families are welcome to return to the lobby of Dowling Hall following the webinar for a Jumbo Farewell while students go to lunch and begin Orientation.
To avoid creating long lines at the dining centers, we recommend the following schedule for lunch. If you live in:

- Carmichael, go there for lunch at 11:30 a.m.
- Hodgdon or Tilton, go to Dewick MacPhie at 11:30 a.m.
- Bush or Metcalf, go to Dewick MacPhie at noon
- Houston Hall, go to Carmichael at noon
- Wilson, Miller, or Hill, go to Carmichael at 12:30 p.m.
- The Court or a non-matriculating student or athlete, go to Dewick MacPhie at 12:30 p.m.

At 1:15 p.m., you will attend the official kick-off of your Orientation Week in Gantcher Field House.
