Explore the woodland trails of the Bidwell House Museum in Monterey on Sunday morning during a free Housatonic Heritage Walk led by forester Tom Ryan. Participants will learn about tree and shrub identification alongside ecological concepts like carbon sequestration and climate-adaptive forestry. Attendees should dress for the weather, wear hiking boots, and pack water and snacks for this two-hour, one- to two-mile hike. This event is free.
