This award is exclusively for IBS members located in Lower and Middle-Income Countries (LMIC), according to the World Bank, and who have submitted an abstract and been selected to present during an Oral or Poster session during the IBC2022! If selected, funding may be utilized for travel, accommodations, and registration to the conference. This is a competitive program with limited funding, grants will not exceed $3,000 USD.
Please confirm that you qualify for funding before applying. There are several important guidelines to keep in mind:
Important Guidelines
- Only active members residing in a Lower and Middle Income Country at the time of application are eligible.
- You must be an IBS member at the time of application, and for at least 12 months prior to the date of application.
- Previous recipients of the award may apply only if the award was not made in the previous four years.
- Preference will be given to those who have not received a travel award in the past.
- Must submit their contributed paper through the IBC abstract submission site and indicate that they are applying for Travel Award funding. Papers should meet the guidelines of the IBC abstract submission guidelines. Additional requirements will be communicated if your paper is selected for presentation.
