According to the Comptroller of the Treasury's Division of Local Audit, so far this year, two counties have received a clean audit for the fiscal year 2014-2015. Congratulations Blount and Tipton Counties on your clean audit!
Broadband is a popular topic in Tennessee right now. The Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development (ECD) is conducting a broadband assessment of the state and is asking for Tennesseans across the state to take a survey regarding their internet access. There are two different surveys, one geared towards residential broadband users and one towards government or business users. The survey takes about 20 minutes to complete, but will help ECD determine the status of broadband in communities all across the state. Click here to take the survey.
