"Forgetting to Remember" is a series of events centered around working to restore the stories of enslaved persons in New York and beyond to their essential place in American History. This conference features a Digital Humanities Workshop, Film Screening and Panel Discussion, and Historical Exhibition.
"Forgetting to Remember" is a continued collaboration between the Plain Sight Project and Sag Harbor Cinema sponsored by the Vanderbilt College of Arts and Sciences and the Vanderbilt Office of Research Development and Support, and hosted by the Vanderbilt Institute for Spatial Research and the Digital Lab at Vanderbilt.
