The power of words has rarely been demonstrated more compellingly than in the Gettysburg Address. Lincoln was asked to memorialize the gruesome battle. Instead, he gave the whole nation “a new birth of freedom” in the space of a mere 272 words. His entire life, previous training, and deep political experience went into this revolutionary masterpiece.

Habitat November 15: It's a Family Affair! 
 
Join the Children's and Young Families Ministries for our first ever Family Habitat Day. We invite a parent (or both) to join the habitat work day while the rest of the family joins us at church for Sunday School, worship together at the 11:00 am service, and then lunch and play afterward. We are happy to hang with kids whose parents both are working, or happy for a parent to join the fun with us at church. 
 
Cost is $10 per person for lunch. $40 family max. Registration required. Deadline to sign-up is November 11. Contact Ashley (ahiggins@nashvillewpc.org) for more information.
