A Tech alumna isn't letting her ALS diagnosis slow her down.
Diagnosed with ALS in 2014, Tech alumna Andrea Lytle Peet has completed 50 marathons in 50 states by pedaling a recumbent trike. Pursuing her passion for making the world a better place, the city planner has raised $1 million for ALS research.
The project has solidified new partnerships between the Institute and historically Black colleges and universities and minority-serving institutions, paving the way for inclusive research collaborations to thrive.
