Fully Funded Overseas Faculty Development Seminars from CAORC

The CAORC - National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Research Fellowship provides the opportunity for scholars to spend significant time in one country with an Overseas Research Centers as a base. The fellowship supports advanced research in the humanities. Fellowship awards are for four to six consecutive months (i.e. you can hold the fellowship for four, five, or six consecutive months). Selected fellows are awarded $5,000 per month of the award. This program is funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) under the Fellowship Programs at Independent Research Institutions (FPIRI).

Traveling internationally over the semester break?

Export control regulations are frequently changing and may apply to your planned international activities. Please contact the Office of Research Compliance and Integrity at least 30 days (if possible) prior to departure if you will be traveling internationally on behalf of GVSU and/or taking any GVSU equipment, such as a GVSU laptop. ORCI staff will review your planned activities and alert you of any potential export control concerns/restrictions. Note that the office will be closed while the university is closed over winter break (December 22 - January 2).

It's not too late to join us for the Research Matters series! Research Matters is a series of courses designed for faculty and staff who engage with the grants and contracts process. The diverse course content will engage the attendee in the entire project life cycle and provide valuable resources for developing and supporting research at GVSU.
