For many of our youth, summertime means Camp at Castaway! It’s an exciting week for all high school students, filled with fun memories, new and old friends, meaningful connections, profound messages, and caring leaders. If you have a highschooler in your life who would love to have an amazing week at camp, we still have spots left! Contact us, or sign up on our website.

Outside of camp, we make the most of the summer with campfires, outdoor activities, post-camp dinners and hangouts, and more! Students entering high school this fall are invited to come see what we’re all about, as are all current highschoolers. It’s important to us that these youth have a place to feel comfortable and belong, know that the leaders care genuinely, and let positive connections start with getting to know us. Investing in young people is so vital, telling them that they are loved, reflecting the love of the Father as we have conversations around life and faith. You are invited to join our 6th annual Golf Outing on Monday July 29th! Click here to register. Join us at 1pm Monday July 29th at the Cloquet Country Club and play a round of golf, have opportunity for raffle prizes, and hear a little about what Young Life is doing in our area. What a better way to play golf than in support of young people? Come as a team of 4 or register individually!

WYLDLIFE UPDATE!

We are excited to annouce that Liz Points is taking on the new role of Wyldlife Director (middle school ministry)! After ten years of leading for Young Life as a volunteer, she is excited and prepared for this new chapter.

Wyldlife’s mission (as is Young Life’s) is to introduce middle school kids to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith. We will be serving 6th-8th graders.

As leaders, we come alongside students and help them grow in their faith. Our Young Life committee brings guidance, prayer, and support for the team.

Will a downpour stop our youth from serving their community? Not these ones! They are so excited to go to summer camp and dedicated to follow through on Operation Clean Up that they came out on a rainy morning to clean up a park as part of their fundraising. Way to go! THANK YOU FROM THE POINTS'

The Points are excited for summer time! One of our favorite things to do as a family is head to the beautiful beach at Park Point, Duluth. We won't be going on assignment this year - we have travel plans to visit Missouri with family in June and also a few camping trips lined up. And of course, Castaway in July! 

Paisley finished 5th grade (and is excited that she will be doing Wyldlife next year with Mom!), Neva finished 2nd grade and Benny graduated preschool. He can't wait to be a great big kindergartner in the fall.
