some exciting news & quarterly newsletter of books, films, art to check out
Dear Friends,
So many things have been happening...both natural disasters and man-made ones. I've been experiencing such a mix of emotions and feeling for everyone going through so much....it really makes me wonder, where we are headed, where do we want to be headed, and how are we going to get there.
Many of you have been with me since the beginning of my journey and for those of you just joining now, this is a quarterly newsletter I've sent for the past 20 years of events, books, films, art shows, things I think you'll find interesting, things we're working on, and things I'm thinking about.
Last month, I was part of something that underscored my belief that if we visualize where we want to go, we definitely have a better chance of getting there. The Albert Einstein Foundation asked me to contribute to their upcoming book 100 Visions for the Future. It was such a great honor. I went to Montreal with Ken's and my 14 year-old daughter, Odessa, for the launch of the book and project to present my contribution, and was able to hear from many of my heroes. The whole experience was a life highlight. I'll be able to share the entry with you when the book comes out.
Another book I contributed to was just published last week called The Good Fight: America's Ongoing Struggle for Justice by Rick Smolan and Jennifer Erwitt. I was asked to adapt our script for our film 50/50: Rethinking the Past, Present & Future of Women and Power and expand it into a chapter about women's fight for justice in America. The book gives the 100-year history of the main struggles of groups in the US, including Native Americans, African Americans, Jewish Americans, LGBTQ, Women and more.  More details below.
Lastly, our recent short film 30,000 Days about living a life of meaning and purpose is part of our response to the world we're living in today. You can watch it here.
There are a lot of great gatherings, books, art shows, people to support, and things to explore in this dispatch.
To thinking, watching, absorbing, doing, and focusing on where we want to go and what it’s going to take to get there.
xo, Tiffany
