Vaughn Construction plans to open Bid Package #2 for the Heldenfels 4th Floor Instructional Lab Renovation project (02-3423) this May. The bid package is anticipated to include build out packages. An outreach will also take place on April 17th from 9-10AM in-person at the Vaughn Bryan office and also virtually. All dates are tentative. Vaughn Construction released Bid Package #2 for the Teaching and Academic Student Support Services project (05-3380) in Prairie View, TX. This package includes the following scopes: Site Administration (BP2), Traffic Control, Scaffolding, Concrete Turnkey (Bid Package 1 is being rebid to include both BP1 and BP2 - Drilled Piers, Structural Concrete and SOMD), Steel Fabrication, Steel Erection, and Waterproofing (Below Grade ONLY). Bids are due April 22, 2025 at 2:00 PM CST. Bid Package #3 is anticipated to be released on or around April 21, 2025, and is expected to include all other trades. All future bid dates are tentative. Manhattan Construction plans to open Bid Package #1 for the Lillian Street Dorm project (04-3415) this April. This bid package is anticipated to include the following scopes: foundation and elevated structure, civil trades, site utilities, elevators, MEP systems (except fixtures and devices), and fire protection. Bid Package #2 is anticipated to open this November and will include the remainder of trades, including but not limited to the following: exterior facades, interior hollow metal framing, drywall, painting, doors/frames/hardware, interior and exterior glazing/frames, interior finishes, MEP systems (fixtures/devices), low voltage/security, and specialties.
