| LeadHERship Conference 2023- November 10 and 11
The 2023 LeadHERship Conference will begin on Friday, November 10, with a featured keynote speaker followed by a community reception. On Saturday, November 11, registrants will be invited to choose from a variety of educational workshops throughout the day, including a luncheon, closing keynote speaker, and networking reception.
Registration is open until Friday, October 27. Information about the conference is available here.

Free Yoga Classes!

As part of the NJ Office of the Secretary of Higher Education’s Mental Health in Higher Education grant, CAPS will be providing our students with free yoga classes throughout the year! These classes will be offered by Asana Soul Practice in their Hoboken and Jersey City Locations. Email CAPS@stevens.edu with any questions.

| BME Seminar–Medical Device Classification and Requirements for Approval in the U.S. and EU. |
Speaker: Mason Diamond, DDS, Director of Medical Device and eHealth, Bayer US
This is the second seminar in a four-part series. The seminar series will focus on providing real-world insights relating to regulatory strategies and the development decision making process for medical devices and device-drug/device-biologic combination products. This will cover operational, strategic, and commercial aspects of the regulatory approval process in the US and EU. Overviews of drug and biologic (such as cell and gene therapies) development will also be provided.

| Advising Week takes place from October 30- November 3. During this time, I will have sessions where students can drop in to get support with winter/spring registration and study plans. These sessions are open to all BME graduate and undergraduate students.
