“So, You Want to Be a Day Camp Counselor?” (grades 7 & up)

A training for day camp counselors from 7th grade & up. This fun interactive, training will focus on preparing youth in grades 7 - 13 as day camp leaders and will teach facilitation/teaching concepts, ages & stages, safety, and supervision within 4-H policies. These skill can also be used at the 4-H Action & Promotion booth at Fair, the 4-H Food Stand, Farmers Market, etc. This event is facilitated by the Washington County 4-H Educator.

A fun, relaxed night for 8th grade through high schoolers. Pizza, group games, and a touch of serious conversation about how you want to plan our future 4-H Teen Connect events in January and March of ’25! This event is facilitated by the Washington County 4-H Educator

So, You Want to Be an Overnight Camp Counselor? (grades 9 & up).

This training will focus on introductory skills for high school-aged youth as overnight camp leaders. Interactive and fun… the training will cover the basics of an overnight camp counselor. (This is NOT a prerequisite for applying as a teen staff for June’s summer camp). You don’t have to have camp experience…your interest and enthusiasm to check it out is all that is required! This event is facilitated by the Washington County 4-H Educator.

| The online Charter application is due by November 1st!
|
A reminder that your club's 4-H Charter must be renewed annually. Successful completion of the Charter renewal allows 4-H Clubs and Groups to continue using the 4-H Name and Emblem. The Charter Application will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Once the survey is started you will be able to save your progress and return to complete the application for one week. 2024-2025 Charter Application

The chartering process ensures the 4-H Club or Group is organized in accordance with the objectives of the Wisconsin 4-H program. Failure to submit a completed Wisconsin 4-H Clubs & Groups Charter Application by the due date could result in the 4-H Club or Group being dissolved.
