Albuquerque Strives to Replicate Downtown Tucson's Success

Downtown Tucson has been spotlighted in a series of articles by Downtown Albuquerque News. These articles, authored by Peter Rice, offer a comparative analysis of downtown development efforts and resources between Tucson and Albuquerque.

Among the various subjects covered in the articles, one piece particularly shines a light on the exceptional work of the DTP in managing the Business Improvement District. Titled "Clean, green, and safe: How sweating the small stuff in Downtown Tucson set the table for success," this article underscores the pivotal role played by the DTP in fostering a clean, safe and inviting environment within the downtown area. Empty Storefront Revived With Pops of Color

We're excited to reveal the latest installment of DTP's Storefront Vinyl Program (SVP), now adorning the once-empty window space at 41 S. 6th Avenue. The new eye-catching vinyl invites passersby to indulge in "Fresh Cold Beer Around the Corner" at Tucson's renowned Pueblo Vida Brewing Company. The SVP beautifies vacant windows, serves as wayfinding and promotes lease information. Special thank you to Rio Nuevo for generously sponsoring this program.

DTP's Legendary Customer Service Training

Our DTP Ambassadors and Staff recently wrapped up an all-day customized training program focused on providing legendary customer service to the community. The training encompassed principles drawn from Disney and Marriott Corp. DTP ambassadors and staff are now poised to elevate the downtown customer experience by going the extra mile to provide added value with the goal of "wowing" the customer! Stay tuned as we continue our journey towards exceptional service and community impact.
