Climate Week and SHU Reads!

Climate Week 2025 will take place in New York City from September 21 to 28, 2025. It is organized with the United Nations General Assembly and other partners. This event brings together leaders from business, government, and civil society to accelerate climate action and explore solutions. They will feature talks, panels, and demonstrations, with some activities hosted by organizations such as the Environmental Defense Fund and the New York Botanical Garden.

Student Engagement Events |
Join the New Jersey Consortium for Immigrant Children (NJCIC) for its 2nd Annual Immigrant Children & Youth Walk on October 1 at 8:30 a.m. at Essex County South Mountain Recreation Complex in West Orange. This is walk by young people for young people and the communities that support them. Participants are invited to walk, stroll, or roll. At NJCIC, it is believed that the voices of children and young people must be at the forefront of advocacy for immigrant youth.
