Meet Our Newest BTS Staff Member - Susanna Parker!
This month, Susanna Parker joined our staff as our Employer Outreach Representative!
Susanna comes to us with a passion for sustainability and a background in video editing.
"I graduated with a degree in Environmental Management but had been working in a completely different field since graduating. After half a decade in video production, I wanted to get back into sustainability. And since those five years were spent working in and commuting to Bethesda (and dealing with all that traffic), I had a good idea of where I wanted to put my focus."
She currently commutes to Bethesda on Metro. "Once it gets warmer I’ll bike in as well. I live right next to Rock Creek Park, so the bike ride in is a nice way to start the day out right," she says.
Susanna will be working with area employers on their Traffic Mitigation Plans and Annual Reports and will be a regular fixture at various Greater Bethesda Chamber of Commerce events, getting to know area businesses.
You can reach her at sparker@bethesda.org or at 301-656-0868 ext. 126.
