   VIRTUAL COMMENCEMENT
UNT again will host a virtual commencement experience this fall for graduates earning degrees remotely via online learning options or who can’t participate in their college’s in-person ceremony. The virtual experience includes customized slides with the graduate’s name, degree and Latin honors (if applicable) and a photo and message (if submitted) for each graduate who RSVPs for the virtual option. The experience also includes degree conferral and congratulatory messages from the president, provost, vice president for digital strategy and innovation, and vice president for advancement.
A link to the fall virtual ceremony will be added to the commencement website’s schedule page early on Friday, Dec. 15. The virtual experience is not part of the college in-person ceremonies. Students who choose to participate in this option – and their friends and family members – may watch at their convenience.
When graduation candidates RSVP between Oct. 25 and Nov. 15, they can indicate in which ceremony they’d like to participate. The RSVP request will come to graduating students’ campus email account, so be sure to look out for that.
