Events in August

August at Upham Woods was filled with incredible events and memorable experiences! August was kicked off closing of Dane County Camp 2, and the 4-H county summer camps closed out with Green and Rock counties. Rock County outpost campers even had the opportunity to utilize our new outpost tents! Nature's Navigators learned about the wide opportunities of STEM and our ASL camp provided the opportunity to expand knowledge of campers from across the state!

On August 5th we hosted an open house with Access Ability Wisconsin (AAW) celebrating Upham Woods officially becoming a host site for one of their outdoor wheelchairs, allowing for greater accessibility on site as well as the opportunity for local community residents to take on adventures!

The UW-Madison Department of Entomology hosted Insect Fest here on August 19th allowing for all to learn about the fascinating world of insects!

Chainsaw Safety Training: September 15 & 16
