Cayuse Hazard Safety NOW LIVE!
Cayuse Hazard Safety (HS) is our new biosafety protocol management platform, designed to streamline and simplify the IBC submission process for our university's campus researchers.
This user-friendly platform allows for improved collaboration between researchers and support staff. Cayuse HS will serve as SHSU's centralized biosafety application submission system, making it easier for researchers to track projects, manage proposal information, administer awards, and easily secure required internal approvals. New features will include centralized dashboards, smart form technology, and task management, among others.
Check out this guide for more information on how to navigate to Platform; and this guide for instructions on starting a new IBC protocol.

SciENcv Introductory WorkshopPlease join Erin Owens (Professor, Scholarly Communications Librarian) and ORSP for a SciENcv Introductory Workshop.
Science Experts Network Curriculum Vitae (SciENcv) is an electronic system that helps researchers assemble the professional information needed for participation in federally funded research. SciENcv gathers and compiles information on expertise, employment, education and professional accomplishments. Researchers can use SciENcv to create and maintain biosketches that are submitted with grant applications and annual reports. SciENcv allows researchers to describe and highlight their scientific contributions in their own words.
We will be hosting two virtual workshops on September 16 (3-4pm) and September 17 (2-3pm). Click on the button below to join either workshop. Reach out to our team if you have any questions!
