Check out the latest news for leaders and please remind your district's coaches that the National Tournament registration deadline is this Saturday, May 15! All payments, judges, and entries, including supplemental event entries from non-qualifying students, are due.

Info to Share: Turn-In Requirements for Nationals Scripts

Please remind the coaches in your district that as part of National Tournament registration, competitors in DI, HI, DUO, POI, INF, and OO are required to upload a working copy of their speech/script by May 15 through the Tabroom.com registration system. Competitors can continue to make edits and changes until Saturday, June 13, but something must be in the system by May 15. Click the star button to favorite the script turn-in requirements page and save the info for later via your NSDA Account or visit the Nationals Procedures to access details again.

Register for the 2021 National Conference!

As your dedicated National partner in the promotion and advocacy of public speaking and debate, we are proud to invite you to the 2021 NSDA National Conference. This FREE National Conference will be held online August 3-5, 2021 and will focus on advocating for more equitable and inclusive speech and debate communities. The conference is an opportunity for hundreds of coaches, educators, and community members across the country to learn from experts, connect with peers, and grow as professionals. Any interested adult is welcome to attend, regardless of their NSDA membership status.

Feedback Requested: PF Topic Areas for 2021-2022

The PF Wording Committee is beginning to research a variety of topic areas to develop resolutions for the 2021-2022 season. Your input is invaluable in enhancing this process!

Currently, the committee is focusing on ten areas (in alphabetical order): Agriculture, Balkan Peninsula, Blockchain, China, Climate Change, Courts, Criminal Justice Reform, Elections, India, Latin America, Russia, State Recognition, Stock Market, and Trade.
